Fort Black
Fort Black〔https://journals.psu.edu/wph/article/download/1355/1203〕 (also known as Fort Squirrel Hill and Fort Chess)〔http://www.northamericanforts.com/East/pa-pitt.html〕 was a fort〔 built in Greenfield (then part of Squirrel Hill)〔http://brandtstreetpress.com/Ebook-Renegades.pdf〕 in 1863, during the times of the Civil War.
